OginAI FlowA shared workspace where people and AI work together
A work management service that brings instructions to people and to AI, along with tasks, progress, checks, history and statistics, into a single screen. Several people and several AI agents can work on the same job at the same time, looking at the same board. Available on PC, Android and iPhone.
Name
Where the name comes fromfor each other.
OginAI takes its name from the Japanese word oginai — to make up for, to fill in for one another. Person and person, person and AI, and AI and AI. Rather than leaning on any one of them, each covers what the others cannot, and the work moves forward.
AI is fast; people decide. Because they are good at different things, filling in for each other produces more than either could alone. OginAI keeps the handover from stalling, by holding instructions, progress and decisions on the same screen.
Problem
What we help resolveYou have adopted AI, a task manager and a chat tool. Work still stalls, because the information, the instructions and the decisions all sit in different places.
It is unclear what should be handed to AI, and AI work stops while it waits for a human answer.
Conversations with AI stay on one person’s screen.
Time goes into progress meetings and status reports.
People have to move back and forth between several tools.
Features
What OginAI does01 Keeps AI ready to act
Tasks, priorities, dependencies and open questions are kept in order, so that AI can tell what to do next. Work continues even while the person responsible is away from their desk.
02 Turns instructions into a shared asset
Instructions, progress, answers and outputs are shared per task. When the person changes, or the work passes to a different AI, the background does not have to be explained again.
03 Runs several people and several AI at once
Who is responsible for what, and which AI is running which job, is visible to everyone. Tasks in progress are locked, so two AI agents do not start the same work.
04 Shows why something is stopped
Rather than producing a report, the work itself is updated. You can see the reason for a hold-up: waiting on an answer, waiting on a check, or waiting on a preceding task.
05 Shows usage in numbers
Records which AI spent how much time and cost on which task. The value of using AI can be checked as figures rather than by impression.
06 Instruct AI directly from OginAI
Register a task and the connected AI picks it up and starts working. There is no need to open another tool and explain the background again.
From the accumulated data you can see how work is divided between people and AI, how much AI is being used, where load is concentrated, and where the bottlenecks are.
Roles
Dividing work between people and AIRather than handing everything to AI, we separate what a person should decide from what AI can carry out.
AI carries out
Research, organising, drafting, analysis and implementation — without stopping.
OginAI keeps in order
The next task to move on and the points needing a check, always visible.
People decide
Direction, priority, approval and review.
| Who | What they take on | How OginAI handles it |
|---|---|---|
| AI | Research, organising, drafting, analysis, implementation | Picks up a task and runs it without stalling; locked while in progress |
| OginAI | Keeping the next task and open questions in order | Holds priorities, dependencies and reasons for delay in view |
| People | Direction, priorities, approval, review | Called in when judgement is needed; the approval history remains |
Safety
Bringing AI into the organisation safelyLimited scope
AI can reach only the channels it has been permitted and the scope that has been approved.
Human approval
Work that needs a decision waits for a person, and the history remains.
About
What work management means hereWork management means a way of making it visible across a team who has done what and how far, and what is currently stuck. The point is not to produce a list of tasks, but to keep work in a state where it moves.
Once people and AI work together, this becomes harder to manage. Instructions stay inside an individual's chat window, the phrasing that worked is not shared, and from the outside it is no longer visible whether something is stuck waiting on AI output or waiting on a person to check it.
OginAI Flow was built to resolve that. It is not a monitoring mechanism; it makes visible who should act next.
Use
Where it fitsSituations where it helps
- Several pieces of work are trialling AI in parallel, and simply tracking progress takes effort
- The phrasing of instructions that worked exists only in one person's chat window
- The reason something is stuck is unclear, so there is no way to act on it
- With remote working, what has become invisible is not effort but the state of the work
It is not an attendance system; it does not record clock-ins or total working hours.
FAQ
Frequently asked questionsWhat is work management?
It means making it visible across a team who has done what and how far, and what is currently stuck. The point is not the task list itself, but keeping work in a state where it moves.
How does it differ from an ordinary task management tool?
It assumes both people and AI. It treats the points where a person judges and the work an AI carries out as distinct, and puts instructions and results into a form the team can share.
Can it handle attendance or working-hours totals?
No. It is not an attendance system that records clock-ins or totals working hours; it is a service for sharing the state of the work.
Is this a monitoring mechanism?
No. What is made visible is the state of the work rather than how hard someone is working, and the purpose is to make clear who should act next.
